Accommodations

There are many choices for accommodations in and around Guelph. We have secured space at the University of Guelph on-campus residence and at the Delta Hotel (which is located across the street from the university campus, ~10 minute walk).

On Campus: The option of traditional rooms (East Residence) and townhouses are available for our conference delegates (~5 minute walk to the conference venue, all on campus). Rates range from $45 to $98, per person plus taxes and service charges. There is also an option to add breakfast. Parking is included for delegates staying on campus – for further details see below.

Delta Hotel: A limited discounted block of rooms has been reserved at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Guelph Conference Centre at 50 Stone Road West until June 4th. Booking after this date will be at the hotel’s regular rate.

Cost is (plus applicable taxes):

• $149 for guest room with 1 King bed
• $164 for a guest room with 2 Queen beds
• $189 for a luxury suite

Please note that hotel parking is an additional charge (current price is $15 a day). The hotel is located across the street from the university campus and within walking distance to the conference venue (10 minutes). For on-campus parking details, see below. Parking

To purchase a parking pass: Please visit the on campus parking pass website. Passes are $9.00 per day, including HST and are valid in lots P13, P14, P15 and P30 only. Parking is free after 4:30pm Monday through Friday. There is no charge for parking on weekends.

Purchase parking pass several days before you arrive to allow time for a pass to be emailed to you. This pass must be printed and placed on the vehicle dashboard while on campus. If you have purchased prior to the conference and do not have your printed pass – bring your email confirmation to the registration desk for printing of the pass – you must then return to your car to place the pass in your dashboard.

If you will be staying in one of the on campus accommodation options: Parking is included in your nightly rate and you do not need to register for a parking pass. You will receive a Green parking pass upon check-in and the front desk will advise you on what parking lots you may use.

If you will be staying at the Delta Hotel:  For those delegates who select to stay off campus at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Guelph Conference Centre, the hotel is within walking distance to campus (10 minutes).
